Often when I sit down with folks, they are concerned about the “Donut Hole” and what is means for them.
At times, folks can find themselves in the “Donut Hole” and don’t really understand what it is or how it affects their pocketbook.
It really is a gap in coverage, where potentially, you as the consumer, may need to pay more money to get your prescriptions. Then once you exit this “gap” then you can receive significantly reduced prices on your prescriptions.
Overall, consumers do not like this gap in coverage and want the Government to close this lack of coverage area. In time, we are told that it might close completely.
